Strengthening ECD through workforce training in Assam
In January–March 2025, Vikramshila trained over 400 Anganwadi Workers and Helpers across Pub Mangaldai, Paschim Mangaldai, Rampur, and Chhaygaon blocks. Sessions focused on responsive care, early stimulation, and nutrition during the first 1,000 days—benefiting more than 5,500 children aged 0–3. The program also included hands-on training to strengthen centre-level service delivery.
Community engagement saw successful enrolment drives in three government schools, rallying 94 community members to promote quality, affordable education. Parenting sessions in Paschim Mangaldai reached 23 parents, highlighting homebased learning through simple activities. Encouragingly, several families shared videos of at-home learning, showing growing parental involvement.
