Over 18 months, between 2023-2025, Vikramshila, in collaboration with the American Consulate and West Bengal Board of Madrasah Education worked closely with 800 students from government and madrasahs to foster scientific thinking through hands-on learning. With the support of Makerspace kits and guided mentoring, students from 14 schools explored real-world challenges and developed 20 unique STEM projects —ranging from simple machines to sustainable innovations. The journey culminated in a Grand Finale on February 20, 2025, at the American Library, Kolkata, where 4 schools and 10 standout projects were showcased. This platform gave young minds the opportunity to present their ideas to a wider audience, including educators, peers, and STEM experts. The event celebrated not only their creativity and critical thinking, but also the power of collaborative learning.
