Jharkhand celebrates ECCE Day with convocation & enrolment
The UNICEF–Vikramshila partnership in Jharkhand has been pivotal in promoting a holistic, flexible early learning continuum from birth to age 8, emphasizing emergent literacy, socio-emotional development, and strong parental engagement. Since 2020, the partnership supported establishment of model Anganwadi Centres, curriculum development, master trainer creation, and alternative learning models like Mobile Learning Centers during COVID-19.
This quarter, the Rengadpahadi Anganwadi Centre in Chakulia Block, East Singhbhum, celebrated ECCE Day with a first-of-its-kind Convocation and Enrolment Ceremony. The event, organized by the Anganwadi Worker, brought together children, parents, community members, and local leaders to recognize the importance of early childhood education.
