The Uttar Pradesh FLN and ECCE team has been working to make Anganwadi centres more inclusive for children with disabilities. The aim was to ensure that all AWCs in Devipatan provided 3 to 4 hours of disability-inclusive quality preschool education every day.
The team also successfully organized a divisional-level workshop with 75 administrative officers, from the education and ICDS departments, including BSAs, DPOs and BEOs among others. This workshop helped us place our work in context and seek their support towards achieving the NIPUN goals as well.
