Over 40 students from Akra High Madrasah, Hatiara High Madrasah, and Samaritan Mission School came together at the American Library for a STEM-based event on November 20. The young innovators presented four projects — Inductive energy for wireless car charging; an LPG detector to prevent fire hazards; an automatic shock-proof water level indicator to stop water wastage and light-dependent resistors in action. Sharmistha Bagchi-Sen, Embassy Science Fellow and Professor in the Department of Geography at the University at Buffalo–State University of New York was the chief guest at the event.
