Our goal is to guarantee that every child is not only enrolled in school but also continues their education without interruptions.

We are dedicated to supporting every student in completing their schooling, setting them up for success in their personal and professional lives.

Completion of Education

Our goal is to ensure that, even after our involvement ends, schools, local leaders and communities are well-prepared to continue and expand the initiatives we've introduced. This commitment to enduring empowerment secures the long-term success and sustainability of our projects.

We actively work to prevent child marriage, child labour, and school dropout, addressing these barriers to ensure that every child can focus on their education.

NATURE OF OPERATIONS

Our operations span various levels of governance and geographical areas,
each tailored to meet specific educational challenges and community needs.

State Level

At the state level, our organization provides essential technical and strategic support to enhance local capabilities in rolling out and expanding educational programs. Our efforts are geared towards fostering sustainable practices and inducing systemic changes that solidify the foundation of educational reform.

Targeted Selection

Our interventions are deliberately focused on regions most in need. We prioritize aspirational districts and those with communities facing significant disadvantages (including SC, ST, and Minority groups), as well as districts lagging behind in development indicators compared to state and national averages. Over the past 30 years, our targeted efforts have encompassed numerous districts, striving to uplift and transform educational landscapes where it is most needed.

District Level

On the district front, our approach is hands-on. We engage directly with local stakeholders,
offering targeted support to build their capabilities. Additionally, we establish model
demonstration centers that serve as benchmarks for quality and innovation in education, encouraging broader adoption and adaptation across various regions.

NATURE OF OUR WORK

Curricular Resources Review and Development

Our approach to curricular review includes gap analysis, studying best practices, and assessing current materials and resources. We craft tailored resource packages that cater not only to children but also to educators and parents, enhancing the entire educational experience. These packages include versatile training modules compatible with various delivery methods such as
face-to-face, blended, asynchronous, and app-based training, enabling effective learning in diverse contexts.

Capacity Building of the Educational Ecosystem

We strengthen the educational ecosystem by training key stakeholders, including state and district resource groups or Master Trainers, along with frontline functionaries. Our comprehensive support extends beyond initial training to include ongoing assistance and refresher courses, which
are critical for sustained impact. Additionally, we develop and refine Parent Support Programs for different educational stages—preschool, primary, and high school—equipping parents with the tools to support their children’s educational journeys effectively. More than 50 percent of our training content and process is focussed on hands-on experiential learning at the training centres, model centres, melas, camps and onsite.

Community Engagement

It is a well-established fact that in a child’s development and growth, their surrounding environment plays a key role. Hence, their parents, siblings, other family members as well as the community around them all become important stakeholders in their early years. Thus, it becomes germane to not only recognize these crucial stakeholders but also to spread awareness and
empower them by increasing their capabilities and avenues to participate in a child’s development. In this regard, community engagement is a key component in most of our projects.

Establishment of Demonstrable Models

We are dedicated to establishing model centers that exemplify best practices in education. These centers not only serve as blueprints for replication but also foster innovation and excellence in teaching and learning, showcasing the practical application of our research and methodologies in real-world settings. Given our focus on hands on activities and pedagogy transfer, the model centres serve as demos and labs for hands on implementation of activities, pilots and experiments for functionaries.

Action Research & Advocacy

Through targeted action research, including scoping studies, focus group discussions, rapid assessments, and surveys, we gather critical insights into educational trends and behaviors. This evidence-based approach informs our advocacy efforts, helping us to develop policy briefs that influence governmental strategies and enhance educational practices on a larger scale.

Establishment of Demonstrable Models

Recognizing the intrinsic link between educational success and child safety, we integrate child protection principles into our educational initiatives. This convergence ensures that our programs not only foster academic achievement but also prioritize the safety and well-being of children, creating supportive and secure environments for learning.
