The Uttar Pradesh government has teamed up with UNICEF and kicked off the Pankh Career Guidance Program this year. Vikramshila, as UNICEF’s technical partner in this, developed a Teachers’ Handbook and a Students’ Workbook focused on career guidance.
The UP team has also handpicked 12 pilot schools in the districts of Balarampur, Gonda, Shravasti, and Bahraich and organised orientation programs for the principals and 24 nodal teachers of the schools. Additionally, we also trained 159 teachers from all 75 districts on how to use the modules.
