Vikramshila in collaboration with Tata Trusts, is working with 100 WBMBHS schools across four underserved districts—North and South 24 Parganas, Howrah, and Hooghly. The project aims to enhance academic outcomes and provide life skills and career guidance to 50,000 students from Grades 5 to 10, offering them a pathway to long-term success. Project components include foundational enrichment for Grades 5 and 6; STEM-ICT and life skills for grades 6 to 8 and career guidance and parental counselling for grades 8 to 10.
This quarter, a baseline assessment, capacity-building session, including STEM training for 288 teachers and life skills orientation for 99 nodal teachers, were organized. FLN learning camps were held in 92 schools. With over 39,000 students from Classes 5–8 reached, student workbooks and teacher modules for all four focus areas have been developed.
